Ironman, an event for all in Lanzarote

Saturday 22nd May is the annual Ironman competition with 1,550 competitors swimming 3.8 kms, cycling 180 kms, and rounding it off with a 42.2 km run. That’s just the focal point of the event in Puerto del Carmen, all over Lanzarote the build up to the race involves training camps, fitness regimes, and a network of parties and social bashes for the thousands of spectators.
