New bus link to Famara from Costa Teguise
There are many ways to get around Lanzarote, one of the cheapest and less restrictive is the island bus service. Don’t let the name Arrecife Bus miss lead you, although the main depot and interchange is in the capital city Arrecife, these large white coaches cover the island.
The latest route to be added links Costa Teguise with Famara on the north coast, it runs every 2 hours, Sundays and fiesta days included, and goes from the bus stop just along from Sands Beach Resort Hotel – the turnaround point in Costa Teguise.
The new number 31 route takes you up through Teguise town, the ancient Lanzarote capital, and on to La Caleta on the Famara coast. Exploring can be fun in Lanzarote, small towns and villages are warm and inviting and the food and drink is incredibly cheap.
